We know Dean got his amulet from Sam, who got it from Bobby.
We’re pretty sure that Sam was named after his maternal grandfather, Samuel, while Dean was named after his maternal grandmother, Deanna (ain’t that a kick in the pants?).
We know that even if Dean hadn’t broken all Guidelines of Time and Space Episodes and told his own dad to buy the Impala, John still would have bought her. We just know she would have come to him some other way. We do. Stop doing paradox stuff with my head.
But what about those other niggling questions?
How does Dean always manage to have his hair the same (in this blogger’s humble opinion, too-short) length? Does he get a trim every time he stops somewhere, in case the next town doesn’t have a barber’s?
And on the subject of hair, does Sam get his trimmed to keep it just that kinda shaggy student length? Or has it stopped growing cos HE NEVER EATS?
Who does Pamela’s nails?
Does Bobby actually make money from his breaker’s business?
Does Castiel wear Brooks Brothers’ shoes?
Does Dean empty the back seat of all those screwed-up foil packets and waxed paper wrappers that used to contain semi-edible substances before he got his nose in the bag? Before he needs the back seat for other activities?
If the Impala has license plates (even on the front, which apparently is completely unnecessary for Kansas), who buys the new one every year? And under whose name is she registered? Mr Bert Aframian? Or his son Hector?
Answers on a postcard, anyone. Please. Especially the one about the back seat.

Huzzah, the soupdragon’s back! Lock up your kids and cookies!
I missed reading your great posts, so here is a postcard from me:
Dear Soupdragon,
I am not on holiday but the weather is really nice in Europe. We have a heatwave and my brain is fried but I also wondered about the hair. Of course I know the boys have tons of people following them around on their roadtrip (which never takes them out of Vancouver btw) and tons of fresh clothes so they never have to do laundry…expect for this one episode…anyway, the Impala has a magical goblin riding in the back. No one really knows where it came from and when, but one day Dean turned around and there it was! He said “Holy crap” and “Son of a bitch!” then stopped the swerving car on the hard shoulder to get it out of there with a butterfly net, but the creature simply ate it down to the handle. Sam and Dean looked at each other, shrugged shoulders and left him there. Sam occasionally tries to talk to the bugger but he only makes noises like the Taz the Manian Devil so Sam just quit bugging him and called him Sparky. And Sparky is the reason why the backseat always stays so tidy because Sparky munches on all that trash Dean’s throws in the back for him. Sometimes Sparky will keep a good piece, like a dirty sock and sell it on ebay to some weirdos that write him mails containing words like ‘squee’ and ‘awesome’ and so on, but Sparky never replies though.
Anyway, that was me rambling on. Hope you are having a great summer!
Kiki
“Sparky”?? He’s not Hynerian, is he? About 2 ft tall, a “Dominar of do-do”?
ROFLMFAO
Sorry – bed time. Will be more coherent soon, I promise….
I’ve always wondered about the license plate thing myself? I thought I was just being too practical. Nice to know someone else was thinking the same thing.
I love this site. I just simply love you! You are awesome! hehe :))
Hmmmm…. just one ep into s5 and already it has me puzzled…
How much do you think Chuck/Cas got off the tooth fairy for that angel tooth, that was previously lodged in Chucks hair??? It’s got to be worth a bit more then a standard one…. :D
